Service Leadership Programs

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs are leadership and character-building programs hosted in a school and sponsored by a local Kiwanis Club.  Service Leadership Programs show students the importance of service while allowing them to grow in leadership and service to others.  Since Kiwanis started Key Club in 1925, millions of students have been inspired to lead lives of service and significance through programs for all ages.

GRAK is the proud sponsor the Judson Early College Academy (JECA) Key Club, Samuel Clemens Key Club and Dobie Middle School Builder's Club.

The Eliminate Project

Through The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus—a deadly disease that steals the lives of 34,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year.

With only $1.80 you can save a mother and her child.

Texas Ramp Project

The Texas Ramp Project builds freedom for the homebound by building and providing ramps free of cost for disabled and elderly locals who are unable to leave their homes. In just a few hours, we are able to give them freedom to leave their home again—the home where they want to remain but whose steps have imprisoned them.

Christmas Shopping and Food Baskets

Each Christmas, GRAK joins with the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program (RACAP) to provide food and gifts to local families in need. In a shopping trip at a local store, children are given money to purchase gifts for themselves and their families during the holiday season. Additionally, families are provided groceries to cook holiday meals.
